a Great President
[COMMENT: Hoover is not well=known
as a great president, and I am not sure how good a leader he was (seems like he
did quite well helping others below), but in any event, his philosophy of
government was right on target, and he would have been the target of the
centralizers, perhaps not surviving a second term if he had, for example, gone
Federal Reserve, etc., a bit of treason in our midst. Two presidents
who did were assassinated (Lincoln and Kennedy).

Hoover warned of collectivist government take over of business
Hoover was born AUGUST 10, 1874.
The son of a
Quaker blacksmith, he studied at Stanford and became a world renowned
