Molon Labe - "Come & Take Them..."

[COMMENT:    ...the Spartan King Leonidas's response to the demands of the Persians at Thermopylae (480 BC) that the the Spartans surrender their weapons.

This points (I'll bet) to a superb still-to-be-released video.  It has some of the top people in America on the subject of weapons in the hands of the citizens.  The voting citizens, taken as a whole, are the highest officer of the State.  Everything government does, it does at gun point.  So to keep that leading status over the government, we, the people, must have a commanding control of coercive power.  90,000,000 armed and trained Americans (the male half of the adult population) would be a formidable foe to any tyranny.

An armed citizenry (or armed government, for that matter) is safe only under the law and grace of God.  Under any other auspices, being armed is a temptation to tyranny and chaos.

The opening bit is wrong below.  Money an weapons are not the two powers that trump everything else.  The greatest power is that of the Spirit of God, and our submission to the Spirit of God.  In the end, nothing can win against a common intellectual, moral, and spiritual loyalty to God.  The purpose of civil government is to bring the use of coercive force under the law and grace of God.  Especially when the King Himself becomes present.    E. MOLON LABE

How the Second Amendment
Guarantees America's Freedom

A documentary film by James Jaeger
2012 November 1

A documentary called Molon Labe has just gone into production that deals with the importance of the Bill of Rights' Second Amendment. It focuses on concept that there are only two powers that have ultimate import the "power of the purse" and the "power of the sword". In short: control of MONEY and control of WEAPONS are the two powers that trump everything else. The goal of Molon Labe is to explain how the Second Amendment assures that We The People continue to control those powers.

The term, "molon labe," is an ancient Greek phrase that means "come and take them" and is a classical expression of defiance that was reported to have been spoken by King Leonidas in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons.

Here is the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Most people skip over the first few words that say a well regulated militia is necessary to the security of a free state. This concept is repeated four times in the Constitution emphasizing how important it was to the Founding Fathers to keep the power of the sword in the hands of the people.

James Jaeger, the writer-director of this documentary, has made five other public-service films about the Constitution. The first one, Fiat Empire, featuring Ron Paul and G. Edward Griffin, was the most-watched movie on the Internet for six months following its release.

Molon Labe will feature the analysis of Ron Paul, Patrick J. Buchanan, G. Edward Griffin, and Jesse Ventura. All of Jaeger's films can be screened at www.YouTube.com/OriginalIntentDoc including a four-minute trailer of Molon Labe.

This new documentary was inspired by the works of Constitutional attorney Edwin Viera, and also will feature the testimony of Sheriff Richard Mack, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, Gun Owners of America president Larry Pratt, military commander David R. Gillie, and radio-show host Alex Jones.

These experts will discuss why We The People must take back the power of the sword from the gun-control lobby in Washington, DC.

Molon Labe will be released in about 12 months depending on availability of funding. To read the script and learn how you can donate to this project, visit the official web site here.
