[COMMENT: Many folks ridicule the idea of a "shadow government", a group of persons who, rather than our elected officials, call the shots in government decisions. How long before American wakes up? When the manacles are already on us? Thank God for the Freedom of Information Act.... SPP is not being debated by Congress, nor in any seriously public manner by the President. Yet our sovereignty is being eroded to make way for an "American Union" like the EU.
American must protest vigorously and persistently. This is high treason, but our cowardly populace does not notice. And Bush is as much behind it as anyone. The people are oblivious, they do not want to know, because that might imply that they would have to venture into dangerous territory -- like asking embarrassing questions, like realizing that the American government just might be on its way to becoming our worst enemy.
If that last statement seems out of line, ask 40,000,000 + little babies. Ask the residents of David Koresh's community in Waco, Texas (those who still survive...).
As one commentator asked:
Could there be a time in the not-too-distant future when schoolchildren around the world will study about the rise and fall of the United States?
No nation which subverts the truth and ignores the law and grace of God can long endure. We are on our way, trailing Europe by about 50-75 years. If this is not stopped, it will lead almost for sure to civil violence.
But the law and grace of God comes up from wells deeper than any force in heaven or earth can touch, the wells of spiritual freedom upon which all other freedom is founded. E. Fox]

Government documents released by a Freedom of Information Act request reveal the Bush administration is running a "shadow government" with Mexico and Canada in which the U.S. is crafting a broad range of policy in conjunction with its neighbors to the north and south, asserts WND columnist and author Jerome R. Corsi.
The documents, a total of about 1,000 pages, are among the first to be released to Corsi through his FOIA request to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP, which describes itself as an initiative "to increase security and to enhance prosperity among the three countries through greater cooperation."
"The documents clearly reveal that SPP, working within the U.S. Department of Commerce, is far advanced in putting together a new regional infrastructure, creating a 'shadow' trilateral bureaucracy with Mexico and Canada that is aggressively rewriting a wide range of U.S. administrative law, all without congressional oversight or public disclosure," Corsi said.
