Schwarzenegger tells backers of gay marriage:
Don't give up

David Jeffers

[COMMENT:  An excellent piece below challenging all of us to speak truth at any cost to ourselves.  As indicated in the first paragraph (and see link above), Schwarzenegger is still trying to scam the people about judicial supremacy, which is non-existent.  The commentator should have asked Schwarzenegger whether he had read the CA constitution, and pointed out the relevant passages.   It would have made him look like a fool, which he is for trying to scam the public and violate the constitution.   He must be impeached....     E. Fox]

The governor expresses hope that Proposition 8 would be overturned
as protesters continue to march outside churches across California.

Mr. Perkins, Mr. Sekulow, and Mr. Staver,

If ever there was a moment designed for your three organizations to prove that you understand constitutional law, the above headline (with link to article) from the Los Angeles Times is it.  The constitutionally ignorant California executive Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is calling for protestors of Proposition 8 to continue their march.  Governor Schwarzenegger proved his incredulous ignorance of California constitutional law on CNN today saying, “I think that we will again maybe undo that [Prop. 8], if the court is willing to do that, and then move forward from there and again lead in that area.”

In case either three of you are somewhat unfamiliar with the California Constitution, Article VI does NOT allow for judicial
review of constitutional amendments. Furthermore, Article XVIII, Section 3 allows that “The electors may amend the
Constitution by initiative.” Additionally, Article XVIII, Section 4 mandates that “A proposed amendment or revision shall
be submitted to the electors and if approved by a majority of votes thereon takes effect the day after the election unless
the measure provides otherwise.

The California Secretary of State Office has issued a statement declaring that they will not officially declare a winner until December 13 after all the absentee and provisional ballots have been counted.  If the measure is declared to have passed on December 13th, then as constitutionally mandated the amendment takes effect on December 14th.  The purpose of this amendment was to take power away from the California Supreme Court, which it never had in the first place and all three of your organizations were complicit in the perpetration of the lie that same-sex marriage had been legalized in California by its Supreme Court.

Gentlemen, you three have been negligent and incompetent in your handling of the gay marriage issues in Massachusetts and California.  There is a grass roots movement to uncover the roles you have played in this by addressing your donor base to stop supporting your organizations because of your ineffectiveness and wrong-headed approach to the gay marriage issue.

The road to redemption is always open, but that comes through confession and repentance.  You must publicly state the error in your past ways (confession) and take the lead at not only opposing Governor Schwarzenegger, but also calling for his resignation if he continues his approach (repentance).

If you continue on the same approach by showing up on the California Supreme Court steps instead of the Governor’s steps you will prove to WE THE PEOPLE once again that you have no real intention of stopping judicial malfeasance or legislative and executive incompetence.  If that becomes the case then expect for a public call for your resignations and an end to all donor funding.

I have blind courtesy copied over five hundred people, among them evangelical and conservative Americans, including among them dozens of conservative talk show hosts and commentators, and also many of the mainstream media outlets.

Very Respectfully,

David Jeffers
